How could you be a Londoner
without M-U-S-I-C?!
Everytime I travel, my ipod is my best companion. What more can be so exhilarating than walking down Oxford's street while pumping up awesome tunes in your ears? If you're a music junkie like me, here are some of my recommendations of Local British talents to rock up your London experience this weekend. :)without M-U-S-I-C?!
With their chart toppers 'Don't Upset The Rhythm' and 'Saturday Night', THE NOISETTE has already taken up London by storm. Their album 'Wild Young Hearts' was a best seller when it was first released in 2008.The lead singer Shingai Shoniwa's soulful voice, mixed with the band's catchy rock tune equals an awesome soundtrack for your London adventures!

If you're a fan of haunting voice, tribal drums, and beautiful instrumentations, look no further because FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE will explode your mind with their cosmic tunes! Despite her fragile beauty, the singer, Florence Welch, can really scream the most powerful alternative ballads you'll ever hear.(i.e. 'Cosmic Love', 'Rabbit Heart') Their album "Lungs" is out now and has been winning many awards as it is claimed to be one of the best albums of 2009.

Lastly, if you're more of a Electronic/Pop fan, FRANKMUSIK is the guy you don'w want to miss. Growing up in Croydon , Vincent Frank (aka Frankmusik) was a former student of CSM and LCF(yes!), a beatbox champion and a self taught composer since very young age. Frank recently won his fans hearts with his release of the long-anticipated debut album 'Complete Me'. With tracks like '3 Little Words' and 'Confusion Girls' already playing in night clubs all over London, He's on his way to become the new pop icon of our time.
Have a 'rock n roll' weekend!
you know you love me
