Last week, I went to Dover Street Market, a famous multi brand store. It stocks some of very interesting brands such as Martin Margiela, Comme des Garcon, Azzedine Alaia, Haider Ackermann, Ann Demeulemeester and Undercover.

And the one I am going to talk about is Hussein Chalayan, a Tirkish London based avant gard designer. To me, Chalayan is admirable in his extraordinary talent in creating avant gard conceptual but yet wearable clothes. And what ran into my mind when i first saw his real AW 2009 piece is that his in store pieces still contain the same consistent message as he tried to communicate thru his runway show. And certainly, it's yet attractive to his customers. Unlike some of other conceptual designers. their in store piece contain only a slight touch of their runway concept.
