This book, called Watching the English, is for anyone who wants to understand British behaviour in all kind of aspects. With humour, Kate Fox- the author- writes a mix of rules to follow in different situations; such as a conversation in a pub, how to flirt in a party, dress codes, how to pick up things from their humour, taboos in sex, and many others. The book is divided in two parts: conversation codes and behaviour codes. Actually, it is not only about understanding quirks, habits and foibles of the English people, it is also about having a great time and a good laugh. Besides, you won’t find any difficult looking for a copy, most of the good bookshops have it. For us, the nearest one (as far as I’m concerned, may be Kieron can help us better) is Borders, in Oxford Street. Go for it! –MARINA PETTI
